An Iraqi reporter working for an American news organization was shot and killed in Baghdad by U.S. troops after he apparently did not respond to a shouted signal from a military convoy, witnesses said. The military had no comment.

1. Please fix your link
Edited on Fri Jun-24-05 07:26 PM by OKNancy
It doesn't go to the story in your post.

Thanks

On edit: I see this small blip at the bottom. THis was attacked to the six Marines killed.

According to LBN rules, the subject line of the post must match the title of the article. Rather than lock, I will move.

3. The paragraph is about 3/4 of the way down the page...
Doesn't look like Yahoo thought it rated its own headline.
:)

7. If someone in a truck going past me shouted in Arabic,
Edited on Fri Jun-24-05 07:30 PM by Eric J in MN
I wouldn't respond.

I wonder if the US soldier shouted in English.

The reporter who wrote that article should provide details.

9. How convenient.
Ever notice how many anti-war journalists have died? I wonder what the count is these days?
