FOR THE RECORD: KLEIN WAS TOLD ABOUT CONASON

For those who just heard the interview with Ed Klein: Al called Adrian Zackheim, and was assured that Klein had been told that Joe Conason would be on the program. But it wasn't necessarily a lie. "He's been through so much this week," Zackheim told Al, "that maybe he forgot."

he KNEW he was in deep squat when he heard Joe was on. You know he's familiar with THOTP, and was going to have to deal with somebody who actually KNEW something about Hillary, and to what depths the VRWC went to destroy her and her hub

that was some sweet interview

he couldn't answer one single question they hit him with; he didn't have a single coherent response to anything they said

his 'best' answer was that he must've forgotten to put the elipses between the sentences where he talked about Moynihan loathing Hillary so much that he couldn't even mention her name when he endorsed her. the funny thing about that was that the elipses would have been to indicate missing sentences that....QUOTED Moynihan mentioning Hillary's name

Al not only started the show by saying Conason would be on with Klein, he reminded the audience at least twice that it was coming up.

And we all know Ed wasn't listening. Being the publicity avoiding shrinking violet he is.

7. Everything Klein said only made him sound more like a liar. He would

have been better off by either keeping totally silent or pleading the 5th.

Klein barely tried to defend himself, he was truly pathetic.

even made himself look more idiotic than Al or Joe could possibly have hoped for when he asked if Conason being there was part of the deal. It showed that he is afraid of the man.
That he would try to justify his book based upon the writings of others is beyond me. He admitted that he did not research any of the parts of the book that AL and Joe asked him about. An absolute embarrassment. He should be ashamed.
