Pubs are joing the military! You may not know it, but almost every City listed here is more red than your blood!

Chambliss' nominees accept nominations to United States Service Academies
This week, Senator Chambliss announced that 23 Georgians have accepted nominations to attend United States Service Academies beginning July 1, 2005. The 23 students were Chambliss' nominees to the academies. While the academies make the final appointments, Chambliss' nomination was key, because all applicants to United States Service Academies must be nominated by their Senator, Congressman, the Vice President, or the President of the United States. Students who have accepted nominations to the various academies include: Jeb Beard of Peachtree City, Craig Hyatt of Fayetteville, Tyler Olmstead of Peachtree, Andrew Gilzean of Peachtree City, Jeremy Cunningham of Fayetteville, Josh Fox of Peachtree, Erik Knapp of Peachtree City, Martinez native Alex Lochren, Mark Cork of Marietta, Brian Haley of Marietta, David Lovett of Kennesaw,! Brad Lawhon of Marietta, Duncan Hamilton of Dunwoody, Tim Walker of Tucker, Watkinsville native Elliot Rickett, Andrew Kirk of Alpharetta, Patrick Walker of Atlanta, Taylor Couch of Alpharetta, Peter Hughes of Atlanta, Cumming native Jason Bogardus, Suwanee native Ty Volkman, Savannah native William Harrison, and Warner Robbins native Zack Willey.

1. Chambliss at Senate Armed Forces Committe Report yesterday.
I watched C-Span online video of the SARC Report, took notes..most every Senator had questions for Rumsfeld and the Generals. Chambliss was one of the few who did not have a strong question regarding status of troops in Iraq.

(see http://dyingwarriors.blogspot.com/">Dying to Preserve the Lies, my blog, for notes on what questions the Senators asked)

excerpt;
Sen Chambliss talks about young captain graduated from Academy; known him all his life; deployed in original march to Baghdad and now 2nd deployment in Iraq. An email that he got from this captain about a month ago. List of all that is going well in Iraq for the people; equipment fine; humvees fine vehicles, only problem really is the car bombs.
