Was Karl Rove bragging ??
...about the way conservatives have handled the war on terror? Does he really think they have done a job worth bragging about? I would think he would be ashamed to bring up the subject after the lies and the incompetence? But I guess they have no shame? Surely there is a problem with anyone that would bring up the way they have handled the war in Iraq as something to be proud of? I don't know what he hopes to accomplish with his latest comments? They sound rather stupid and naive to me...

1. No, he was continuing the proud Bush administration tradition
of ignoring reality, or rather, thinking they create it through what they say. He knows it doesn't matter in the slightest what the reality is so long as the administration can redefine it for enough people. That's why it's so critically important that Democrats and liberals not let the White House slide on this one.

7. Thanks, I appreciate that.
I get a lot of traffic from DU at my blog, so I thought it was time to return the favor.

2. I think this entire administration could probably qualify for a clinical
diagnosis of paranoid schizoprenia with delusions of grandeur and magical thinking...if not that, then at least of extreme assholitis.

3. " Our armed services handled the war on terror, not conservatives". I read
that on a t.v. LTTE.

5. I thought it was awesome the way he single-handedly took that
machine gun nest near Tora Bora, then dragged 24 of his men to safety after they were pinned down.

Oh wait, he's too much of a coward to do anything like that. Sorry.

6. He was attempting to reframe the debate.
Unfortunately, it was the same old sterotyped shit, and nobody much is buying that has not already swallowed it whole. Also, certain Dems seem to have decided to not take this sort of thing lying down anymore.

It was, in it's way, prefect evidence of the vacuuous shallowness of the Rovian intellect.
