I must congratulate you on your masterful interview

rolling on the floor!!! It was one of the rare times
I have seen those of us who are upholding the truth
really give it to those who persist in lying through
their teeth. Sadly, too often the liars are the ones
who nail those who are truthful.

I'm hopeful your interview might help to reverse that
outrageous trend.

Also when they were talking about Safire's writings about Hilary in the NYT, Safire said if he was wrong about something he wrote in the article (don't remember what it was), said he would eat crow. And he was proved wrong - and Klein lamely tried to argue with Conason that he wasn't wrong, or something, and to move things along Al said, 'He did eat crow, I saw him'. I don't do it justice, but, Al's humor tickles my funny bone.

12. This Interview Is Brutal...I Loved It

It was like listening to Franken write his next "Liars" book.

Klein's a total whore...out to make a buck whatever way he can. If he can't get the Hillary haters to buy (or their bulk order sugar daddies), why not see if you can get some Hillary lovers to buy it just to find all the inacurracies in it. He doesn't care, everyone's money is green.

Props to Franken for staying on a substantive rather than scurilous side of this hatchet job. By showing how this asshole used only a selective quote by Moynahan rather than the entire remarks demonstrates how the right wing hate machine goes its dirty work. Since it quotes a dead man, the allegation can't be refuted by the source of the remark so the "grey" that "maybe he really mean it this way" can sink in...and gives credibility where none should exist.

What's sad is this guy sat there and had his head handed to him, got up, went out of the studio without a single bit of remorse...almost happy he was exposed...as this seems to be a badge of honor on the wingnut side...when the truth is exposed and a Franken or Connason or another famous person calls you out on it. They could be 100% right, but all you have to do is hide behind the name-calling and existing spin and you become a hero.

Methinks Klein was hoping to get totally trashed...so much that a Hannity or Rushbo or O'Reilly would take up his cause...and bring him on their shows where he could really sell the toilet paper.
