"Frankly, I want to be a politician. I'd like to survive to see that"
This "...said Vivian Lee, 17, a war supporter visiting the convention from Los Angeles." What a noble young woman. Screw all the people dying over there. I have my political career to think about. We have "people" for the war. I bet 100% of the people who have died over had something they would like to have survived to see. Their children, wives, husbands, lovers, the park where they played as kids, the home where they grew up, their colleagues at work. What a snot nosed little brat Vivian Lee is.

3. I am sure this two faced little chippie likes to call liberals "elitists"
They all seem to like to paint their enemies with their own true colors.

4. I do hope someone
gives this woman recruiting papers.

And if she doesn't enlist, call her a chicken hawk coward.

6. Neil Santoriello wanted to be a politician too
Neil Santoriello took the initiative, and it showed. He was named an Eagle Scout in high school and helped command the Army ROTC program at his college. "You could count on him to get the job done," said Lt. Col. Mark N. Mazarella, the program's former director.

Santoriello, 24, of Verona, Pa., was killed Aug. 13, 2004, when a bomb exploded near his patrol vehicle near Khalidiyah in Anbar province in western Iraq. He was assigned to Fort Riley, Kan.
Santoriello had dreamed of being in the Army since fifth grade and took a step toward that goal by joining the ROTC when he entered Dickinson College. "Neil wanted to be an officer," said John Hackett, Santoriello's scoutmaster.

The political science major was one of nine ROTC members selected from 150 applicants for $20,000 annual ROTC tuition scholarships at Dickinson. "I always said one day he would be a leader in our nation," Hackett said. "Now he won't get a chance to do that."

Santoriello is survived by his wife, Lisa Santone Santoriello.

</snip>

On behalf of Neil and all those who loved him - Fuck you Vivian Lee.

8. That's a little ironic
Vivian Lee?

"War, war, war. This war talk's spoiling all the fun at every party this spring. I get so bored I could scream. Besides, there isn't going to be any war." --Scarlett O'Hara

Okay, granted, it's Vivien Leigh. But still.

11. Oh the irony!
I wonder if Vivian Lee (not Leigh), if drafted, would suddenly develop a chronic case of the vapors and have to have her corset strings cut? Or maybe just a boil on her butt. They aren't the most creative people in the world...she probably does not get the Vivian Lee/Leigh thing.

13. So true...
One of the most prevalent criticisms of the Clintons from the right is that they were "ambitious," that they were "career politicians." Hillary in particular came under massive fire for her unladylike "ambition" in the political arena - Women belong in the home, or closemouthed and googly-eyed, like Laura Bush.

Do you think the right will extend this line of criticism to their own female politicians?

12. I think little Vivian just permanently fucked her political career.
I don't think we'll be seeing Vivian Lee's star rising in the political heavens after this remark.

Oh no, wait, I forget she's a Republican. Never mind, she's at the head of her class.
