Tucker's "Situation" Show a Ratings Disaster Already !

Here are the ratings for his first 8 shows, the first number is total viewers, the second number is the 25 to 54 demo.

June 13: 452,000 / 177,000
June 14: 231,000 / 87,000
June 15: 198,000 / 77,000
June 16: 202,000 / 79,000
June 17: 172,000 / 89,000
June 20: 194,000 / 92,000
June 21: 172,000 / 52,000
June 22: 148,000 / 39,000

In 8 shows he has dropped from 452,000 viewers to 148,000 viewers, if he drops to 100,000 viewers or below it's called a scratch, a scratch is a 0.0 rating. Right now he is getting a 0.1 rating, and I predict he will scratch by monday.

4. MSNBC........

The idiots at MSNBC gave that bow tie wearing jerk a show, and it has flopped in less than a week.

9. What don't they understand about "Crossfire is cancelled"?
It's nothing more than a clone of that failed CNN show. Network execs are dumber than rocks.

10. I watched in on occasion just for her.
She made the show.

I'd love to see her roast repukes on every night. She needs her own show.

It's message first, ratings second.

Corporate media doesn't go with the most appealing host, they go with the most appealing *corporatist* host. And that means conservative.

Limbaugh is an unappealing, talentless hack. So is Hannity. And O'Reilly. And Coulter. And all the rest of the conservative shills. But they're the most appealing, most talented fish that live in that tiny, fascist pond.

They'd never allow a normal human being to be on the air without at *least* having a corporate stooly around as a minder.

7. Where did he find even 148,000 to watch him?
He's such a smarmy, snide little creep.

12. I admit that I enjoy the show.
I'll admit to watching it; I actually find it enjoyable because it's not an all out shout match like Hannity & Colmes. I enjoy the fact that no one is really interrupting anyone.

He doesn't just recycle the GOP talking points like Hannity or Scarborough, either. And he's ten times better then the Big Giant Head .

I think part of the reason for the low ratings, aside from the fact that political shows hardly draw a high rating except among political fanatics, is that it comes on at 9 which is when most of the big name shows on the networks come on.

15. Why are there
two Conservative voices and one progressive on the panel? I agree that Tucker Carlson isn't as bad as the other rightwing shills, but as soon as I saw the imbalance on the panel, I turned it off and haven't bothered with it again.

20. Me too!
I am certainly not a Tucker fan, but he seems to be a little less obnoxious than he used to be- he doesn't interrupt as much etc...which brings me to the real reason he can't act out---

Rachel Maddow.

She is amazing. She is level headed, smart, and quick thinking and wonderful to watch... which is why I watch... only because of her.

Yay our side!
We hardly get as many pertinent points made in any other forum.

Viva (cough, cough) Tucker et al.! He looks really stupid when he loosens his bow-tie at the end of the program. Puh-leez! Cheesy.

16. Mr. BowTie makes me sick!!!
I won't even watch the promos for the show.

We do try to watch Keith Olbermann, and when it's over, quickly change the station or turn it off!!

18. I rather liked it.
So of course it'll go bye-bye. :eyes:

I mean among rightwing shows, it had a bit more intelligence than most. I didn't watch with FULL attention at all times (on the computer as well), but what I saw I thought was better than some of the other shit on.

Late sunsets in the park.
Scraping and painting.
How could Tucker compete with all those wholesome American activities??
