flat out amazed at how successful they've been using wild west rules and 1984 as a guidebook. i am shocked and awed, and stunned.

amazed at the simplicity of their plan, and how easily it's all gone down, as if pre ordained.

2. The GOP owned media infrastructure was the hard part

and it took them a few decades and loads of cash to build. When you own the media it's easy to get away with everything. Thank gawd for the Internet.. I'd be losing it otherwise.

5. It's only worked because of media consolidation, IMHO.

They've got nearly 100% propaganda saturation. That means the public learns the truth very slowly, *and* is very slow to respond.

They started with complete control of the message, so short-term success is hardly surprising. It's like watching the Yankees play a Little League team. A victory there doesn't really warrant any praise for the coaching staff- you know?

The truth is quickly catching up to them, I think.
