3. I flipped and saw two of the networks have negative stories on Iraq,
the female Marine casualties and the public support waning.

One spoke to the wife of a soldier that was killed who says she supports Bush but wants to ask him when will enough be enough, how many of our soldiers have to die over there before he will bring them home.

Didn't look like "happy talk" from the networks for BushCo.

8. When will enough be enough?

Huh? I'm sorry for this woman's horrible loss, but it does it dawn on this woman that as long as people like her keep publically supporting The Great War Preznit, he'll keep playing Great War Preznit and sending other people off to die.

Enough will be enough when she can stand up, like Cindy Sheehan, and call him on his lies and his disregard for life.

10. I know. I found the whole "I support Bush but ..." rather confusing but
some of the Bush supporters are beginning to turn on him. That is important.

It sounds like this woman isn't all the way there yet, but she is close.

She is now a widow with a three year old son.

travesty that Bush has started.

12. I'm afraid some people will use that as a reason to try to hide the truth
Edited on Sat Jun-25-05 06:04 PM by Pirate Smile
but we can't let that happen.

"The truth will set you free. But first, it will piss you off."
Gloria Steinem

edit to add - I decided that would be a good quote for my sig line.

19. I agree
If Bush supporters are going around saying they're fed up with war that would be good to get out of Iraq and putting even more pressure on.

31. How would you like to wrap your mind around the idea....
That your husband died so because that lying little twit in the White House could have his wonderful little war.

I can't blame her for being ambivalent.

13. Never thought I see "bush's supporters"
sayin' it's time to bring them home.

I can't imagine being so conflicted that I would support bush after my loved one had been killed in his filthy lied for war.

Sorry, bush isn't budging cause it's the OIL & halliburton contracts they were after and the strategy of the Middle East..ooop!

21.  Please be fair. His mind is heavy w/concern.
Each morning our poor, tired President runs to his calendar and scratches off another day on the page. After all, that important time is coming and he knows it-- and he must be prepared:

Only 35 days left till August vacation!

I rarely watch CBS News but it happened to be on. I thought the whole newscast was very negative on Bush. Quite a refreshing surprise.

24. Karl Says "Calm"
Now that the election has ended and KKKarl has a big, cushy office in the White House, he preps the chimp on every photo op. If KKKarl says that chimpy doesn't have a care in the world, then he doesn't. Despite this fact, you can see that Dubya is aging just as fast as his father did when he became prez.

27. Well, I bet that is true.
King George thinks his shit don't stink nine ways to Sunday. The self absorbed piss ant couldn't care less as long as his bank account is rising and he doesn't have to face the unwashed masses who hate his guts. In fact I bet the arrogant, low self esteem POS has convinced himself, he is loved? Ah who knows what that crazier then a shit house rat thinks and quite frankly who cares?
