President warns of more violence ahead and pleads for 'resolve and faith'
http://www.guardian.co.uk/usa/story/0,12271,1514987,00.html

In the face of mounting casualties and a growing threat of civil war in Iraq, George W. Bush yesterday urged Americans to stay the course and insisted that he had a plan for eventual victory.

Reaction among the American media was notably withering on Bush's performance with al-Jaafari and the President's insistence that America was making progress in Iraq. 'If the war is going according to plan, someone needs to rethink the plan,' said the New York Times.

------that's all we have to do folks, just have resolve and faith, two concepts that bush doesn't understand. resolve, to get the job done, and faith in god that it's all just and good and righteous.

you'll HAVE to do better than that georgey boy

But I was resolved and I stayed the course *slams fists on podium* and had faith *smirk*, it could happen.

"insisted that he had a plan for eventual victory"

5. "Return home with honor"
We have come full cycle on the Vietnam analogy.

The profiteering and fraud has proceeded at such an accelerated pace by the neo-cons that we are already at the "peace with honor" stage.

11. That stage comes after
the "stay the course" stage, right. It's been so long and I had so hoped to lay to rest that horrible boil from our history. I really don't think we should have to lance it again less than 40 years later!

6. Resolve is alright...
but faith is open ended, not subject to any time constraints. You're not asking for faith, you're asking for blind obedience.
The country has lost faith in you and has hit the wall with your once enjoyed "blind obedience" as well. You're going to have to come up with a new line, georgie. You keep using the same old lines again and again expecting different results. That's the tactic of a madman.

You're so unwilling to change or entertain new ideas, just like your father. "Stay the course, a thousand points of light, be patient, stay the course". You bush's are all alike, one trick ponies with no imagination and no ability to think on your feet.

You're not a lame duck, you're a cooked goose. Give reason and sanity a try for once, jackass.

If I thought he might actually speak the truth I might actually listen.
