She is saying that we have no backbone and we should not be afraid of sacrificing our sons for the sake of our grandchildren.

...and I just fell off the turnip truck.
Yes, I think sacraficing my son to make the world safer for the children he hasn't had yet makes lots of sense. Or better, let's create a whole generation of war widows...(well they don't stay widows long)...and children who grow up without their real father and the torment that brings with them along the way.
Yep, this lady is a true "patriot". Sure makes us want to protect her...yeah, right.
Do any of the RNC plants actually convince people?

6. Wait a minute, If you sacrifice your son, you will have no grandchildren |
|
A lot of people only have one son so I'm guessing she's talking about the grandchildren from a daughter. But then again, brush would like to take your daughters too (you know like he sent his daughters to war). Let's compare notes and see, Hmm, brush, cheney, rummy did any of them ever go and fight a war? Did any of them send children over to Iraqi to fight a war? Maybe, just maybe, the rabid repukes are following the example of their idiotic leaders.

send our sons and daughters to save THEIR grandchildren.
of course, what that c-span caller said is a double, as well as a generational, negative:
the iraq preemptive war is saving THEIR grandchildren from WHAT???

And does the caller not realize that daughters are dying over there, too? If she has no sons, she may have daughters who can help out in the noble war effort.

7. In the tradition of Jerry Lewis, "Hey Laaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaadeeeeee!" |
|
Got a memo for you.
On the flipside, we are getting ready to sacrifice our grandchildren AND our great grandchildren with the DEBT that we're piling up right now so that a minority of this country can finance the construction of their McMansions, Congress can finance an unwinnable war and still give a good chunk of the budget to Halliburton without asking for an accounting of the money spent, and paying the IOUs to China, Japan, and South Korea. Not to mention so-to-be $100/barrel oil.
So, maybe we leave behind a "free" country to our beneficiaries but make them slaves financially because we couldn't say "no" to a few madmen in the WH and Congress.

We gotta fight to defend poor little defenseless Americas freedom - I swore I saw some Iraqi, or maybe Afghan troops, marching down my street just the other day. Gee, I wonder which awesome third world super power is going to deprive us of our freedom next - Sudan, maybe?

10. Do any of these old fools |
|
ever ask themselves why just about every other country in the world outside of the U.S., UK and Israel has managed to get along with the principal Islamic "petro"nations?
Look at China. It practices the foreign policy our founders recommended--mutually beneficial trade with no entangling foreign alliances.
Isn't it interesting that we are the only country on the planet practicing the "my way or the hughway (of death)" approach?
