CLEVELAND (AP) — An Amber Alert for two young children was canceled when police found them Saturday morning waiting to board a plane with their father, a soldier who had been treated for psychiatric problems after returning from Iraq.

Muhammed Sadiq Abdul Zahir was being evaluated at the Department of Veterans Affairs facility in suburban Brecksville, said Lt. Thomas Stacho of the Cleveland Police Department.

Stacho said Zahir, 24, had recently returned from Army duty in Iraq and was being treated at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Stacho didn't know what unit Zahir was assigned to or the nature of his leaving Walter Reed.

Zahir flew into Cleveland on Friday evening and reunited with his wife and their sons, ages 3 months and 21 months. Zahir was behind the wheel of their car later that night when he asked his wife to get him something to drink, then drove off with the boys, Stacho said...

2. I worry about
the generation of soldiers that will return from the Middle East. I don't think the administration gives a shit about them.
