better late than never -- went to see Revenge of the Sith yesterday

I know there were lots of posts about parallels between the movie and bush*. Most of those discussions centered around whether or not the parallels were done on purpose

my partner is a self-proclaimed "political agnostic" - she does follow some of the news, but mostly just screams and hides during any discussion involving politics

well, during the movie, I received alot of pokes in the ribs at various points where there were parallels between bush and the sith

the point I'm trying to make is not if the parallels were done on purpose or just coincidence -- it's the fact people are seeing parallels. The movie is resonating with people and connections are being made between what is on the screen and what is going on in the world today.

3. They were obviously done on purpose. That's why the RW hate radio was so

steamed about this movie. They try to specifically cite things like this movie to explain why movie box office overall is down, because in their view wingnut America is rejecting the cultural/political depravity of Hollywood. Heard Rushbaugh expounding on this once while flipping through stations.
