I think I officially crossed the threshold
of being too upset over this administration.
I had a dream last night--if someone does dream interpretation I WOULD love to know what this little ditty meant.
I dreamt that I was going to a big city to go shoe shopping for espadrilles?:wtf:
I don't even LIKE espadrilles, yet I searched everywhere for hours in the rain and endured hateful salespeople to find these ugly shoes. I ended up purchasing some red and white striped ones that you slip on.:puke:
Anyway, I don't understand this...all I know is that this administration makes me nuts and I think it just crossed into my subconscious.:silly:

2. I've been having weird dreams for the past few months
most involve something I'm trying to build or fix that just won't go together right. And there is usually someone there haranguing me because it isn't done yet.

Of course that pretty much describes my job, but it may be due to shall we say "misadministrative" stresses.

7. I have no training whatsoever in analyzing dreams
But I'll give yours a shot.

I think your dream refers to the last two Presidential elections. You feel you were caught up in a movement toward Bush (whom you don't like any more than you like espadrilles). The people "selling" Bush were very hateful (just like the people selling espadrilles). But you got stuck with Bush (the espadrilles) and were told that having Bush as president was very patriotic (the espadrilles were red and white). You realize that in the past being patriotic meant being loyal to red, white, AND blue. This President pretends to care about his "red" base and is doing his best to push "blue" voters into the same powerlessness that African Americans had before the Southern Democratic President Lyndon Johnson pushed for the passage of the 1965 Civil Rights Act.

9. personally.....
i think your are tired..of running around in the circles of dealing with shit that you dont want...but are doing anyway..u are tired of dealing with all of the shit that you dont care about..but do anyway. it just took the form of dumb red and white stripped espadrilles in your dream. dreams are a gift from your subconscious..and i agree..write it down...along with all the feelings that went with the activities in the dream..and all the details...this is u at the subconscious level...trying to tell you at the conscious level...to please, please care about yourself.

12. When
are searching everywhere and enduring alot of stuff for something you don't even like or want. It's called normal life. And normal is not necessarily sane..We are born into a sick culture by default where people just can't stop torturing abusing humiliating and objectifying each other, and yet it takes a LIFETIME to find what we want out of our our own lives, who we are really where we want to be inside r even how WE want to live.

WE are programmed to search for meanings in a land of bad shoes and if we do not throw out the fashion trip we are told to want,we live a lie..A acting as if sucking it up is the only way it must be, by parents teachers and a billion other"authority figures telling us how we MUST fashion ourselves..live our lives to please THEM and we end up with the espadrilles...every time..

We are forced into this society, and we are raised up for this government, this culture, and to accept an ugly impersonal mass produced limited way of life..
We do not get to choose our own shoes or our path if we choose fit in, to avoid the pain of being different..We adhere to the fashions and roles we are told we must want for fear of ridicule.. we are taught we have to pursue this ideal normal life as if it makes us happy to play this game and wear ugly shoes everyone calls DA bomb like a commercial script.

Life in America is like a fruitless shopping expedition for shitty looking shoes you don't even like..Isn't that what growing up is like when you get grown up and you look back at all the potentials taken away by"authorities"or 'peers' with bigotry/control or other'issues' who wanted you to obey them or someone else's definition of "normal"' or 'fashion' more than just BE you??

Who wants to spend a life search all day in the rain seeking shit in a billion stores chock full of assholes, and all the shit you don't want to like, just for this so called privilege' to walk a mile in those clown shoes? America is a pair of white and red stripped espadrilles...That is the UGLY eyesore and cultural imperative..The "powers that be want to have us frantically invested in their GAMES, Having us waste our lifetimes,in looking for the shoes we are told to want.We spend rainy day funds and when we get the"American dream shoes" we were told we must "covet" to BE SOMEBODY and make parents PROUD we pretend those ugly shoes that feel like shackles on our feet are not ugly or shameful because of all the SACRIFICES we laid out for this bullshit. WE close our eyes to the possibility of having the kick ass but controversial, defiant, too wild, too smart,to sexy to impractical, too free, too radical, too beautiful pair of shoes that were in the box next to the clown shoes we spent our wad on.

America(at least you) has buyers regret when it comes to our clownish control freak culture making us waste our lives pursuing shit we do not want, and 'leadership' fashion telling us what we should like I think

13. sounds to me like you're on a quest to find the best of this US
the rain has been pouring on us since the last Bush theft of the 2004 election, but you didn't give up until you obtained your goal. I think it is a sign that you will achieve your goal. I too believe that freedom is coming back to the USA.
