6. The lovely Ann Coulter
She is singing that old standard, "I suggest you take baseball bats to liberal's heads". I forget where I picked it up, it's called "maniac" :)

15. I can't figure it out, but the Freepers like it.
The artist is presenting this work to the Chimperor himself.

http://www.rebecca.clarkcooper.cc/

To me, he just looks confused, like the flag is about to burn.

20. Is it just me, or do conservatives have problems drawing perspective?
Edited on Sun Jun-26-05 08:21 PM by brainshrub
I'm not an artist myself, but I've noticed that conservative art looks flat and they have problems drawing things with perspective or abstract imagery.

People who study art: Do you understand what I'm talking about?

ON EDIT: Note how the icons are drawn with minimal depth, and the abstract images are flat. (All images are from her sites portfolio):

This last one is interesting, but for some reason it doesn't look like a drawing... it looks like a photoshoped picture. Note how she has to blur the background rather than give depth or perspective.

25. Yeah. They are either stupid, or aesthetically inept, or both.
Edited on Sun Jun-26-05 11:42 PM by impeachdubya
Take music, for example. Our side produces people like Bruce Springsteen, R.E.M., Pearl Jam, The Grateful Dead, Jimi Hendrix... they throw up (no pun intended) Toby Keith, Kid Rock, and Ted Nugent.

Most Republicans are incapable of even understanding basic song lyrics. Look at "Born to Run", speaking of Springsteen.. They've had 20 years to figure out that it's bitter social commentary from the perspective of a down-and-out Vietnam vet, but they still crank it at campaign rallies like it's some jingoistic fucking rah-rah anthem.

Of course, you wouldn't expect a deep appreciation for the finer things in life from a crowd that considers the Left Behind books serious literature. (but where to file them.. Fiction, or Non-Fiction? What a fucking head-scratcher!) ... Apparently, right wing christian women are only NOW discovering vibrators, although to their credit that must mean that at least a couple of them have heard about this thing called the "orgasm".

So, go figure- you're talking about people who spend most of their time in paneled basements surrounded by velvet paintings of dogs playing poker.

22. Oh dear. That is just, just, just, um, grotesque.
Maybe the candle is there to cauterize the wound from poking his eye out on the flag standard as the maggots eat his alcoholic addled brain after getting his mouth punched out of joint?

24. I hope that is supposed to be two different hands
holding the flag and the candle.

Otherwise, someone really needs a crash course in anatomy for artists.

Bush looks like Beavis, too: "Fire! Fire! Heh. Heh Heh."

29. Does the sig line under her name say "Cure Cancer?"
Cause she's gonna be mighty dissapointed when she gets her head unstuck from her ass, and figures out that he would rather "save" a cell in a petri dish than support research that could benefit real, live cancer victims.

11. Hump? What hump?
sorry, poorly fitted suit again. On the other hand, why doesn't he get a better tailor? One that could hide the hump, or at least have his suits fit? I know, nitpicking. Thanks Bluebear for continuing to post many interesting things. I think you are more cynical than I, and that is saying a lot. Thanks.
