Great Rant from Americablog
http://americablog.blogspot.com/2005/06/when-are-red-staters-going-to-take.html

When are the red staters going to take responsibility for themselves?
by John in DC - 6/25/2005 07:16:00 PM

I'm just watching ABC News, and saw an interview with a woman whose husband just got killed in Iraq. According to ABC, "she still supports President Bush" but if she could talk to him she'd ask him "when is enough enough," when will there be enough deaths for Bush to bring the troops home?

What is it with these people? So long as you "continue to support President Bush," then enough won't ever be enough. Seriously, what is wrong with these people? They have a 3 year old daughter who now doesn't have a father. Either you support the president or you don't. Either you support the war or you don't. Either you take responsibility for yourself and your vote, or you don't. Either you have a problem with the president lying to you in order to start a war, and not giving you and your loved ones the armor and equipment you need to live, OR YOU DON'T. But this "I support the president" while you then say "when is enough enough?" - what is that?

It's time to pose the question back to all these people: When is enough enough?

2. How sad
She has to support the president on one hand OR her husband has died for NOTHING honorable. But her true pain is showing in her talk.
How very sad!!!!

3. Wierd
I've mentioned here recently that the Dems should start running ads targeting the direction this country is headed with the slogan:

"Had enough America?"

They are in charge of the whole "shooting match" now. It's about time we started to hang it around their necks.

5. Republicans do not believe in LOGIC.
They are spoon fed bits and pieces of information, bigotry and hate. When things their leaders do, affect them negatively, they are thrown for a loop. They still "continue to support President Bush" because that is all they know. Yet, the reality of the huge loss she has suffered is, of course, apparent even to her, because it affects HER. The losses felt by the Iraqi people were, and probably still are, of no concern to her. The countless number of people in Iraq who have been maimed and left homeless is not a concern to her. She is only questioning her president because SHE has suffered. Confusion is the only emotion she can handle at this time that still allows her to hold blameless her war-mongering "president". If she supported the war monger president by voting for him, then she cast a vote for the war in Iraq. If her vote has cost her her husbands life I hope she comes to realize that it was too high a price to pay.

6. Thats the best post I've seen to date this year!

about supporting the war in Iraq.

Kos has had some great ones, especially about chickenhawk leaders not asking their viewers/supporters to enlist.

But as far as the rank a file, John nails it.

If you arent reading Americablog you should, i check almost every day... highly recommended.
