Well, well, well. I see Dick Cheney's daughter is in "Near East Affairs."
Isnt that conveeeenient?

Elizabeth Cheney, the vice president's daughter and the principal deputy assistant secretary of state for Near East Affairs, praised Kuwait on Saturday for granting women political rights.

But Cheney also said during her visit to this Washington ally that reforms will take time and effort.

Parliament passed a suffrage bill in May, letting women vote and run for office for the first time. The Cabinet appointed its first female member, Massouma al-Mubarak, about a month later.
