One Thousand Seven Hundred Forty Two American soldiers now killed in Iraq
1,742 families that will never hug or kiss their loved ones again.

1,742 families that have been changed forever.

1,742 lives snuffed out in an illegal invasion and occupation of a sovereign country.

1,742 live sacrificed for the lie that is Iraq.

4. Does anyone have the number of contractors
who have died over there?
People that work for Haliburton and its other companies?

On Frontline, they were talking about all of these contractors,
doing the jobs of soldier's,about 1/3 of the force over there.

Why don't we see the number of those killed and wounded?

6. Contractors are also reported on the ICCC web site, but
Edited on Mon Jun-27-05 08:08 AM by unhappycamper
the reporting is a bit spotty. Corporations are not required to disclose deaths.

on edit: to correct English

5. Correct. Last Thursday my sign said 1728.
For the month of June 2005, we have already lost 75 Americans in Iraq. That is 2.89 a day.

Unless We, The People, talk about it, the slaughter will go on. Rumsfeld said yesterday that the was could go on for another 12 years.

9. 12,648 more senseless deaths at that pace.
All for a picture of Saddam in his undies.

10. at this rate it will be 5000+ by the end of *
I think we may hit 1776 by the 4th of July. I think that number will resonate with alot of Americans. Not to mention the number that are wounded.

150*2.79=418
365*3*2.79=3055
418+3055+1742=5215
