he says we need to be there for at least 12 more years. just going by our 1,750 dead in 3 years formula. but i'm no good at math.

The Iraqis do not want us in their country. Once they start targeting US/British troops 100% the death toll will go up.

...so the average deaths per month have been 1,750 deaths / 27 months = 64.82 deaths a month so 12 more years will be (12 years * 12 months) 144 more months times 64.82 deaths per month = 9,334 more U.S. troops killed or some 11,083 total plus $1.8 trillion ($150 billion per year) more wasted on fighting and occupation of Iraq.
