5. Been Conducting My Personal Boycott of FC for Dad's Liking LIMBOsevic

Some 10 or more years ago, the FC dad was in his hammock with a portable radio. Of course, his "relaxing" mode is the black slacks, white, long-sleeved shirt, shoes and socks and glasses. The little girl shushes the boy, saying, "Shhh. You know we can't make noise when Daddy is listening to Rush" LIMBOsevic. That was the end for me (like my skipping it really hurts FC).

Some months ago in another thread on FC, there was an item that KEANE is a real wingnut A-hole. He was wingnut before wingnut was cool. He was an admirer of Paul HARVEY. And when the Boondocks dude first broke on the scene and got an award, KEANE made some snide comments about him and his strip.

I've been boycotting the "Family Circus" for years. Why is it that all the great comic strips fade out too soon (i.e. Bloom County, The Far Side, Calvin & Hobbs) and the dull inconsequential ones do not know when there prime has passed (Family Circus, Ziggy, Love is, Cathy, Garfield)?? Keeping these strips in circulation just wastes valuable newspaper space that could be used for Comics that are actually funny.
