Waiting for the next neocon 9/11-- Iran did it! Isn't it obvious??
How many of you out there are waiting with bated breath for the next neocon 9/11? You know it's coming. Having basically gotten away with the first one, they are not going to waste this Bush** 2nd term opportunity to further their (obvious to some) agenda, and at the top of that is the attack on Iran.

So what will it be? Another hijack drama? Not probable. Exploding trains a la Mardid? Not spectacular enough for US audiences. An attack on a US fleet in the Persian Gulf? A suitcase nuke? Reading around, it sounds like the next one could be a west coast thing.

As should be obvious, whatever form the next 9/11 takes, it will be blamed on Iran, and the funny thing is, most of the sheeple out there and the media will either believe it or go along with it.

So pull up a seat to the greatest work of fiction on earth, the next neocon 9/11. It could happen any day now.

3. it would be no surprise
i've been waiting for it since the second plane hit the WTC... which is the exact point when i knew in my heart that something was up.

they've fooled a lot of people into believing that planes hijacked by arabs = attack iraq and they have fooled many into believing SH was a dire threat to us anyway, even though he had NO WMD.

oh the stupidity.

i'm so tired of the lies. something has to give.

5. Small nuclear detonation in mid-sized US city.
:nuke:

Approximate fatalities: 500,000

24/7 TV coverage from black helocopters and people on the ground covering the death, destruction, blood gore and carnage.

The whole civilized planet is thrown into shock and awe.

There are immediate calls for nuclear retaliations.

Martial law is declared.

The draft is quickly instituted.

There will be no opposition.

6. Ever since Op Northwoods was discovered, by a FOIA from JFK assassination
related to the Oliver Stone movie, see

www.abcnews.go.com/US/story?id=92662&page=1

(see pages 3 and 4 of the article). The military have lost their collective minds; their idea of 'national security' somehow got totally perverted into attacking ourselves. Truly military madness.

18. The highest levels of military protect the moneyed elite and their global
interests. I'm not taking about the enlisted men and women who make up the ranks -- but at least some of their highest ranking officers. They were not attacking themselves on 9/11. The wealthiest of those who worked out of the towers were elsewhere -- U.S. Strategic Command headquarters located at Offutt Air Force Base in Omaha, pehraps? That's where Bush ended up.

8. port
I think they'll do something around the Ports of Los Angeles. 3rd largest port in the world in terms of tonnage. Economic heartbeat of the west/southwest. Surrounded by one of the largest petrochemical refineries in the world, and a manufacturing base larger that NYC, Chicago and Detroit combined. This is the first year the administration finally spent money drying to defend the port; a paltry $1MM.

11. Land of the Dead ... they'll use chem trails to spray over the muslim
graveyards to wake up all the dead jihadest. Then they'll fly them into a neighborhood near you and let them roam around free looking for humans to eat alive.

Sorry - saw Land of the Dead this weekend and was sort of incorporating it ....

12. I am somewhat worried because they are getting really desperate
now that Bushs approval rating is down and support for the war is at an all time low. But by doing anything, it will prove that Bush has not done anything to reduce terrorism. Despite that, I believe that most of the population would believe what the governemnt told them and it would prob. raise Bush's approval ratings when he "responds heroically" (after he finishes reading My Pet Goat of course.)

13. Talking about my Pet Goat...
I came up with a theory about why he flew all over the country on 9/11 instead of returning straight to Washington...

Remember in New York on 9/11 when Guiliani pretty much took over and how much of a calming and consoling influence he was?

Now imagine if Bush had done a similar thing, i.e. flown straight back to Washington and said "ok, the nightmare's over, I'm in charge, we're gonna deal with this". That wouldn't have fit the agenda...better for him to make it appear that the country might still be under attack and keep the suspense and fear going.

19. Me, too, BMG. Port of Oakland, to be precise. Gee, what can we fit
into one of those THOUSANDS UPON THOUSANDS of containers that pour through the port? They come from everywhere, you know.

In one of these threads someone said that nuclear radiation had a 'signature' that could be traced.

I wonder if that is true.

23. Me too Oakland, but I read where they have just installed...
a gate-arch for the containers to all pass through that zaps em and checks for radiation. Theoretically this would catch any nukes that were sent through the Port of Oakland.

24. Hello!
Glad to be chatting with another Oakland resident. :hi:

Well, I don't doubt that everyone is doing his job as best he can to prevent an act of terrorism. However, everyone was doing his job on 9/11, too, and yet, surprise, surprise, a very dreadful and murderous event that shocked our nation and the world took place. Worse, this set in motion a chain of events that has brought us to this particular political moment--unlike anything I've ever seen before.

The current administration has lied to us ABOUT EVERYTHING. Moreover, it is of very questionable electoral legitimacy. I don't trust them and I have no problem imagining one of their covert operations teams shipping ONE OF OUR OWN nukes to whatver 'ground zero' they choose. No one is checking outgoing cargo, right?

Me, paranoid? Lets hope.

22. Well, 911 bought a lot of time and freaked so many
out but the thrill is gone now.

A new 911 is also my fear, but I am imagining that someone in a high level position will stop it. That is my deepest hope, that a hero(ine) or hero(ine)s will say Enough!

No one can take their warmongering dollars with them when they go, and I'm hoping someone in the know wakes up and realizes that all the $$$$$$ in the world are not worth destroying the world to obtain.

And my guess is that, since the BFEE is so goddamned predictable, all our talk about these plans will make them think twice- waver a bit. They think Americans are idiots. They HATE when we figure out their next move. Keep talking about it, keep saying this over and over to keep the heat on those warmongering, greedy fuckers.

And where would they strike? Somewhere very blue. Revenge combined with the strategy. They are too predictable to do anything but strike out at a solid Dem area. After all, like the Iraqis, we Dems aren't really "people" at all.

27. "Somewhere very blue" -- that's us.
I mean, my Congresswoman is Barbara Lee (AND SHE IS GREAT!) Oakland is a PORT CITY, right across the bay from San Francisco. A nuclear detonation here in the Port where I live (literally, in a ware house) could start a fire storm in the hills that would burn for, I don't know, a LONG way beyond the actual city of Oakland itself. The last fire storm we had wiped out about 3,000 homes in one day! SF could get mightily singed, too. With a few exceptions, the whole bay area is pretty anti-Bush, especially after the energy companies screwed us out of BILLIONS of dollars and used THAT as a 'reason' to 'recall' our Democratic Governor. Now we got arnie.

I suppose the only thing that might be stopping them from setting one off here is that they risk doing damage to the cyclotron up in the hills behind UC Berkeley campus.

28. He does not have the nerve to mention Iran. Backdrop of troops.
I think Rove even knows that Iran is like abortion. It's the gift issue that keeps on giving. He will not have his stooge mention Iran, especially in front of troops. That would go over badly.

Iran for Rove is to be guarded like a precious jewel. It's their trump card. It's their BIG out. You can't waste that.

It's the "break glass in case of emergency"...inside is Iran and all that will help them stay in power, and not be held responsible for anything.

They are in a race. The fall is coming with the subsequent housing crash and stock market collapse. They have to keep everything in the air until then, and then Iran will play nicely into cover for them.

29. Incompetent until 9/11, then flawless afterwords
Up until 9/11 our ability to detect and deter terrorist attacks was pathetic.

After 9/11 our ability to detect and deter terrorist attacks has been absolutely flawless, with no mistakes made.

How could something so incompetent transform itself so quickly into something so perfect?

I firmly believe that the OK City bombing, the first WTC bombing and the events of 9/11 were orchestrated and in some cases carried out by elements of our own government. From this perspective, it's hard to not imagine another terrorist attack upon the American people.

After all, it's for our own good.
