Interesting thing my gov prof brought up today (liberal bias in media)
Being, you know, in college and shit, it's been kind of boring for the most part in that class, but today my prof made what I thought was a pretty good point about the whole liberal media argument that people cast out from time to time.

Sure, said the prof, maybe some reporters are liberal and view themselves as do-gooders, investigating things they think should get airtime. But the people who decide what goes on television and into print are the editors and the owners, who are overwhelmingly conservative. So while the people who find shit may be liberal, the people who are deciding what's going on the air and what's not aren't too liberal.

An interesting point, I thought.

2. Anybody who says the media is liberal...
...ask them if they'll join the fight to reinstate the Fairness Doctrine. Ifthat were reinstated, there would be a counterpoint to everything the "liberal media" says.

they always run and hide after you bring that up.

6. Al Franken made this point in his book
He also made another point regarding the "liberal" media.

Franken summarized a media study which showed that reporters and journalists, while they are social liberals, are fiscal conservatives.
