Now 'friends', Poppy hosts Bill Clinton at Kennebunkport estate
KENNEBUNKPORT, Maine -- Former President Bill Clinton joined his one-time political foe, former President George H.W. Bush, for a boat ride on the Atlantic Ocean after attending a book-signing Monday in South Portland.

Clinton was seen kneeling to pet a dog when he arrived at Walker's Point, the summer home of George and Barbara Bush on Maine's rocky coas

Later, Clinton and Bush waved to onlookers early Monday evening as they boated up and down the river that separates Kennebunk and Kennebunkport before roaring into the ocean for a short ride in Bush's three-engine boat, the Fidelity III.

The 1992 election rivals became friends when they led fund-raising as part of the relief effort for victims of the Asian tsunami. Bush extended the invitation after learning that Clinton would be in Maine for a book signing.

1. I'm pretty sure that Bush 41 likes Big Dog ten times better than
his own spoiled brat. Ya know that DaddyBushBot and Babs are kicking themselves silly every time they look at that a$$wipe they call the eldest son.

You know that any legacy that Daddy ever hoped to have has now been completely erased by siring Chimpy and getting him in the White House. He will forever be known as the father of the meanest, nastiest, dumbest SOB to ever be in the Oval Office.

6. Can't help but wonder if this "new buddy" is 41's one-upmanship on *
as their perpetual father-son struggle. * went to Iraq to show Dad who's the man. Dad adopted a new son and called the press.

7. Well, Smirk already dissed his father in the press
Remember when he said he doesn't consult his father, only his "heavenly Father" for advice?

5. I dunno, MD, I think there must be some protocol for former Preisdents
Doesn't it seem like they are an almnus "above the fray"?

Personally, the last thing I would want is listening to Babs for an evening, though.

12. Please, get rid of that Mann Coulter video
Every time I see it I start sneezing and caughing. Why didn't David Brock make videos of that slut passed out in her own puke in Georgetown?
Maybe he's saving them for his next book.

10. Bush is the one in power
Therefore Clinton is the one endorsing Bush.

This is the imprimatur on one-party, one-world rule.

I can't believe people make up excuses for this.

11. Bush invited him when he found out he would be in Maine book signing.
Clinton could hardly reject another statesman's hospitality and stay at the Four Seasons.

13. where was barbara when clinton was at kennebunkport?
her animosity towards the clintons is notorious, i think. and she has made it plain for people to see. the world is moe hypocritical than i ever thought, or cynicism is more rampant than before. i just don't get this clinton-bush thing, although, i think poppy is using clinton to clean out his own name from all the mud it has--but, i think that clinton's name is being dragged out through the mud by his association with bush, ever more so than bush tried to drag it through in all that whitewater-paulajones-monica lewinsky, and other rumor mongering, that bush initiated against the clintons when clinton beat him in 1992.
