The house had a memorial for fallen soliders |
I turned it on this evening to see what was going on. On CSPAN1 they had a democrat from Illinois call a speical hour and a half to do this memorial. Not a republican. A democrat did this. He and another guy told the name's of all the soliders who have been killed from Bush either from Iraq or Afghainstan. Sad when the minority party in the country pays tribute who they aren't supposed to be "supporting" our troops. Where are the real supporters?

1. No Repubs show up at local memorials |
at least in my area. none have ever shown up & last year, our vigil on the 4th of July (around the time of the 1000th death) was booed by some local freeper-types.

Can't find the reference now, but if I remember correctly he said last week that he was going to do this. Should be done every day in the House & Senate both - in fact at the start of business each day.

4. Yes I believe it was him |
Yes, I'm pretty sure it was him. He had a poster board with their photo's and military info. The two guys read their name's, rank's and age's.
