Tar Heels' doubts grow; majority now opposed.
The statewide survey, conducted over the weekend for The News & Observer and WRAL-TV, found that 42 percent of active voters agree the war has been worth it, but 49 percent say it has not.

Meanwhile, U.S. Sen. Elizabeth Dole on Monday attacked a political action committee that is planning TV and newspaper ads to run today calling on U.S. leaders to bring troops home. Dole, in a statement, called the ad campaign "poisonous."

"To politicize the war in Iraq at this critical juncture emboldens the enemy," Dole said.

Where was the substantive discussion with your constituents four years ago (I reside in NC, there wasn't any)? Where was the debate in Congress and a Declaration of War for our actions in Iraq- there wasn't any? Your performance as Senator has been pathetic and dismal.

You are part of the machine that created this enemy, magnified him and now want to continue using him to stay in power. Well you broke it - you pay for it. Catapault the truth.

We don't need no education - we don't need no thought control.
All in all - you are just another twit who will fall.

4. Has Anyone Ever Asked These Buffoons To Explain How?
How does disagreement in a democracy embolden people opposed to democracy?

Lots of these conservatwits say that dissent emboldens the enemy or some similar sentiment. But, nobody ever asks them exactly how that works. It's just another simple minded platitude that isn't supposed to be questioned. When put under scrutiny, it just withers.

with ignorant panderers with limited competence emboldens the enemy.
