1. Gas will be over $3 a gallon
which will increase the costs of consumer goods which will cause inflation and rising interest rates.

I'm surprised by the apparent confidence among consumers that the AP is reporting today. I don't understand what it's based on.

5. Energy Prices Will Continue To Rise As An Excuse To Pass Bush's.....
Trojan Horse Energy Legislation. People are already holding on to their money or having to pay out more for the necessities of life and this combined with higher energy prices will stifle consumer confidence further.
