Let's play the headlines game...media whores for Arnie
Edited on Wed Sep-24-03 12:45 PM by cally
I'm watching CNN, sort of, looked at the newspaper and it's pretty obvious that the headlines will be that Arnie did better than expected. It's the Bush v. Gore debate scenario again. If Arnie has a coherent sentence then he wins because everyone thought he was a bumbling idiot. He'll still be a bumbling idiot but at least he had one sentence that makes sense. So help me find some humor tomorrow and let's write their headlines and stories for them. I may survive tomorrow this way.

My start:

Schwartznegger knows the issues.

Davis worries.

2. Yes, aren't low expections Republican's best friends?
I'm amazed that the media is nationally broadcasting this thing.

What happened to the boycott?

4. Just heard on MSNBC
that the debate will be broadcast in Japan. Japan?

I have my doubts about Arnold's grasp of the issues - when challenged.

My headlines reads:

Running Man Can't Go the Distance.

6. Guess I'm not a good headline writer
Tried several things, but none of them seemed funny or useful, so I gave up.

Sorry, cally!

So how can a Texan best support the 'no on recall' forces at this late stage?

:hi:
