I think I got through to somebody
I went to a meeting the other night. I'm already working on one campaign for next year, and the featured guest was a congressional candidate from another district (the one I live in). He's a Reagan Democrat, and decorated war hero. And he started taking about John Kerry's purple hearts. He believed the Swift Boat liars version of events.

I pulled him aside after the event and had a little talk with him. I said that I spent considerable time last fall with the driver of Kerry's boat, and said that he told me that Kerry's injuries were substantial and that he had to be medevacted out the last time. I also told him that these same Swift Boat Assholes were the same guys who ran the smear campaign against Max Cleland.

He knows Cleland from years back, and agreed he was slimed. So I told him to consider the source. They used the same tactics on Kerry. And I had eyewitness testimony. He started thinking.

Last night he called and asked me to manage his campaign!

4. That wouldn't be the Duck would it?
Someone said Rockville and I was just putting 2 and 2 together.

If you are from Maryland you may know what this means. Otherwise it will mean nothing.

6. Your first task is to craft a new stump speech for Candidate Clueless
Whose chances of election just shot up, in my opinion, as he transforms from Candidate Clueless to Candidate Electable.
