Email from Frist - missing NRSC June goal of $50,000 . (slams Dems too)
Edited on Tue Jun-28-05 02:34 PM by Skip Intro
I don't know why I get these things. Maybe because I signed up for morality in media emails (just to keep tabs on the anti-free speech morons). Anyway, now I get emails from liz dole and frist. Seems they're having a little trouble reaching his $50,000 goal for June, lol. Four days to go, and less than halfway there.

Also, somewhere in this email, I'm going to have to say, "f*ck you frist," at some point, for his attacks on Dems, so I'll just say it now, "f*ck you frist."

Here's what the ever-shrinking bush mob is reading today:

(I hope I'm not breaking some rule by posting this)

----------------

Dear Friend,

At the beginning of June, I asked each online supporter of the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) to make a contribution toward our NRSC June Online Campaign goal of $50,000.

As of this morning, the NRSC is $30,653 away from their goal.

So if you have not done so already, I urge you to immediately make an online contribution of $100, $75, $50 or even $25 in support of their efforts. To make a contribution, please click here.

Your support of the NRSC is critical to our success.

In the Senate we face an unprecedented level of obstruction and a level of rhetoric that defies understanding. Since I last emailed you, Democrats have:

Again blocked a confirmation vote of President Bush's nominee for U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton.

Attacked our soldiers in the field, by comparing their heroic actions to the likes of the Nazis, the Soviets and murderous Dictator Pol Pot.

Denounced every single Republican in the country by saying we are lazy and have never worked a day in our lives and called our Party ''pretty much a white, Christian party."

Even Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid called President Bush a "loser" while the President was overseas on an important goodwill mission.

To put it mildly, the Democrats have clearly chosen partisanship and angry rhetoric over progress. And I can't help but think that this is the calm before the storm.

Because if the Democrats are willing to go to these extremes now, before a Supreme Court nomination fight, imagine what demagoguery and gross mischaracterization they are capable of against the President's nominee to the highest court of the land.

That is why we need your support today!

June will be a defining month for President Bush and our Republican Senate Majority.

In addition to their normal support of Republican Senate candidates, I have asked the NRSC to be prepared to support President Bush's nominee when there is an appointment to the Supreme Court.

I am counting on you to help the NRSC prepare for what is likely to be one of the toughest and most consequential debates in recent memory.

And you can be certain we will fight back against the Democrats' unprecedented obstruction and their heated rhetoric.

The NRSC is $30,653 short of their June goal of $50,000. So please consider making a contribution of $100, $75, $50 or even $25 today! To make a contribution, please click here.

If you have not supported the NRSC I ask you to do so today. And if you have already supported the NRSC with an online contribution this month, I ask that you consider doing so again.

Sincerely,

Bill Frist, M.D.
Senate Majority Leader

P.S. To support the NRSC and make a contribution of $25, $50, $75 or even $100 today, please click here.

sigh... good thing they don't actually rely on individual Americans for support. I'm sure some employees of "friends of frist" will be encouraged to ante-up!

My mind, however, is skeptical of their claims of fundraising trouble.

I didn't even realize a single individual was allowed to contribute $50,000.

7. Ah, this explains a lot
The guy that gave $50,000 - Perry L. Johnson - does a bit of business with the Ohio government.

"The International Organization of Standards establishes business practice standards accepted world-wide, and registration is limited to organizations that pass a series of detailed audits to determine compliance. From February of 2004, the CSMS passed both internal and external audits conducted by Perry Johnson Consulting, Inc., and in August passed a certification audit conducted by Perry Johnson Registrars."

"Prison inmates like Harry are the reason Perry Johnson Inc., a Southfield, Michigan consulting company, chose to remain in the United States rather than join a host of telemarketing companies moving offshore.

Perry Johnson had intended to move to India. But the company chose instead to open inside the Snake River Correctional Institution, a sprawling razor wire and cinder block state penitentiary a few miles west of the Idaho line."

Sorry, this is all pretty far off topic, but I like following the money.

5. Howard Dean can raise $50,000 in a few days...
without even asking.
The projection is leaking out of Frist's ears.
