1. Thursday.
I keep saying it, but nobody seems to listen.

It's something we should all be prepared for. We know what the rhetoric is going to be like, we ought to be ready.

10. That's because it's probably not happening on Thursday
The court order gives the government a lot of leeway. July 15 is a safer bet.

http://www.aclu.org/SafeandFree/SafeandFree.cfm?ID=18393&c=206

"The court order filed late yesterday requires the government by June 30 to reprocess and redact 144 detainee abuse photographs provided by Sergeant Joseph Darby to the Army’s Criminal Investigation Command. The order also requires the government to provide the court with an estimate of the length of time it will take to reprocess and redact four movies included as part of the Darby collection by June 10. The decision comes after the court privately viewed eight of the images from the Darby collection to determine whether the photographs should be released under the FOIA. The ACLU expects redacted versions of the photographs to be released within the next six weeks."

13. I hope you're right, but I can't find that anywhere in the ACLU release
In fact, the article states that the photos will be released "within the next six weeks" after the June 2 date.

5. Whose deadline is it

6. The Ft Bragg Photo Op is supposed to head off clamor over the photos
although * asking for patience vs. video of our troops raping a little boy isn't too tough to call

14. It states exactly what the ACLU press release states
In other words, it gives the govenment all sorts of leeway on the actual timeline. That's why the ACLU's best estimate is sometime before July 15.
