Bush has to get allies support before the election....
And the allies know it. They are in no hurry to bail him out. He's lobbying them today...the old pat on the back and promise of big bucks to join him.

The allies do not like the way he stabbed them in the back and put at risk the survival of the UN. They will play along with his game but they will make him sweat right up thru the election. They are not going to help him get elected. Dream on George.

1. Remember the "old" days - 6 months - and stealing $30 B was big news?

The fellow that had proof the CIA moved the Central Bank Iraq monies into its own accounts has been silenced, and the money is still gone. But now, per Teddy K, we budget a $1.5 billion petty cash per month transfer for the CIA, so as to influence others (do not say bribe or the ABCNote will be upset and say no proof of bribe - just can't account for the money - but the fact that no one knows where the administration finds those funds to give Turkey and others is not a concern of the ABCNote).

Damn good thing that sleaze is not a problem to the US Media anymore. as long as it is GOP sleaze, or can be blown off as GOP national security or GOP foriegn policy slease.

Germany, England,, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Israel, Pakistan, Australia and many more will follow...and he'll buy off the reluctant ones in the UN with the billions from our tax dollars...even if France doesn't come on board...Bush will get most of Europe, Australia, some of Asia and Africa and almost all of the western hemisphere.

And then he'll have the UN right where he wants them...to blame them for everything that goes wrong in Iraq!!!!!

Go Rove and Georgie!

4. But the big obstacle for Bush is the troops....not the money.
Congress will give him whatever he asks for...But he needs to take the pressure off the troops. Some of them will be scheduled to come home soon. I think what he might do is pull the troops back and stop the searches in the city of Baghdad. He will say he is going to give the Iraqi people the opportunity to see if they can govern themselves..at least until the election is over...
