today the first world war was set in motion
does anyone think bush has a clue that it was today? today he will give us a speech that claims we have to give more blood just as the kings of the last century told their subjects. yet maybe this speech will be the turning point in the united states just as the defeat of the russian army was during world war one..the great war.

1. Can he turn it around?
I hope not. I doubt it.

2. First Crusade
I'm reading a history of the First Crusade, and Pope Urban II gives a speech that is eerily similar to the type of garbage we hear today. Atrocities by Muslims against Christians blah blah. Get people incensed with false stories and slap a weapon in their hand. Tada.
