Why do the pundoids keep saying the President was SOBER? |
|
"a sober speech" "he was very sober" "the White House said it was a sober speech...."
Is that all they got? He was sober?

|
They've coached him to relax and lean back into his coke fiend giggles, instead of leaning forward and hunching over. HEH HEH HEH, HEH HEH.
But he let a bit of that smirky mirth gurgle out on "Freedom."

2. It nicely underlines the moment, |

just like it underlined the moment that the junkie was shooting up on the steps of the church that morning when I walked by him on the way to work.

11. Yer right-- it's so we'll take him SERIOUSLY |
|
I even played a game tonight-- before the speech I decided to listen with respect for the office of the President that he holds....
Ended up waiting for the human suit to split open and the lizard to shoot some laser beams out of its eyes.

That used to be an old joke |
|
in the Merchant Marine.
The Chief Engineer would write in the logbook: "First Assistant Engineer drunk today" This went on for days.
One day the First got to the logbook first and wrote:
"Chief Engineer sober today."

Wonder why they threw that one out there.
Watched him interviewed by BaBaWawa with Pickles. He was definitely heavily medicated. Big grins when asked the most gruesome questions.

Sober = the President's sole qualification for his position
DSM = been there, done that. (AS IF!) :wtf:
9-11 = Saddam Hussein : Snorfonopolous and David Gergen (anyone else?) tonight repeating that "we knew there was no connection before the war."
The doublethink is enuff to drive folks to drinkin!
