bush could not keep his eyes focused on the camera directly in front ofhim
that would have been the camera that had him facing us the rest of the american public not in ft. bragg. he would look to his left, and he would look to his right. he would keep his gaze to either the left or the right of him for some time. however, whenever his eyes would focus on the camera in front of him, he could not sustain that focus, he would almost immediately look to his right, or to his left.

i am no body language expert, but to my way of thinking, bush knew that he was being a lying, conniving snuffer of lives, lying to the public about HIS need to stay in Iraq, and he had to hide from himself, and from the rest of us, by looking away from the camera directly in front of him, and looking to either side of him.

just my very humble opinion.

3. teleprompters are generally set up...
to the left and right. The idea is to make it appear the speaker is connecting w/ the audience as he scans from one to another. You give him too much credit for self awareness....he was just reading words with absolutely no comprehension of what they meant.

4. very observant.....
He might also be avoiding "eye contact" with the camera out of the shame
of realizing what all those polls mean--people don't like him. From what
I've read of Bush's self-centeredness, that seems possible. I'm not sure he
even KNOWS he's lying.
