Post-speech MIHOP poll

For those who don't know, MIHOP means Made It Happen On Purpose (9/11.) The fact Bush was equating Iraq with 9/11 so late made me wonder even more about MIHOP. I'm convinced of LIHOP (Let It Happen On Purpose) already. Really, LIHOP is just as evil as MIHOP. Keep responses conventional so the thread can stay here.

3. I really think bin Forgotten ppl flew the planes into the WTC

but I think Bush and friends knew about it and helped it along by blowing up the towers because they knew the planes would not bring them down on their own.

6. I agree, but have no problem believing in MIHOP

The second I saw what happened I thought of it as MIHOP. The fact that OBL isn't being pursued suggests that OBL probably was a co-conspirator. I knew Bush was on his way to domestic failure, and that this would be used to distract people from that reality. I never would have imagined the rednecks' joy in profiteering from it though. I never thought the U.S. would let itself become so distracted by it, take so long (if ever) to rebuild, and in effect take Schrub's lead and let the 'terrorists' win.

8. I have only heard tidbits and post speech spin.

That being said, the whole bit about terrorists coming after us and wanting to kill us all (make no doubt about it) had a very false ring to it. If 9/11 hadn't happened there would be no such argument. They are only able to say that because of 9/11. Where are the foiled attempts. Where are the suicide bombers in our country. Other than the two bombings a WTC, most US terror acts have been domestic.

It really makes me wonder.

10. I think for Bush it was incompetance.

I could believe LIHOP or MIHOP for Cheney, though. Remeber, he was the one giving orders on 9/11. He even commanded Bush not to return to the WH - and Bush followed orders.
