Vermont! The most patriotic state in America...
(Based on the fact that, except for 1812, it has sent a larger percentage of its people to fight in every war than any other state)...

Vermont! The most patriotic state, my beloved, my home, delivered the lowest approval rating of any state in the country to President Fuckface in today's poll (32%).

I am SO proud of Vermont, still the most patriotic state in America! Proving once that true American patriotism does not mean blind obedience.

1. First to enact civil unions, a very tolerant state, with great political

9. It's not an easy place to live; you have to be wiling to work hard
and suffer the winters, but there's no other place like it.

I grew up two miles from the Connecticut River (the border with New Hampshire), so I've spent a lot of time in New Hampshire as well. NH is a great place in its own right, but just doesn't feel the same.

Don't ask me to explain it, but any other Vermonter will say the same thing.

11. Ah, so your relatives are the "rich bastids,"
as we used to call them, even though we didn't know any.

(Just joking--I'm sure they're nice folks.)

14. Then they're OK. Loyalty counts. I know Vermonters who wouldn't
dream of moving out of the TOWN they live in, even if it's not much of a town.
