At least Graham interjects some reality...unlike McCain.

3. He made sense, I have to say |
|
Questioning what we are expecting of the Iraqi people. Saying that it took us years to write our constitution, we are asking them to bridge religious differences and write a constitution in little less than a year. That makes sense and gives blivet** a legitimate out if he fails. I hate that he maked sense, but it did.

13. All good points my FAV EDV but ...... |
|
...... I still see Sen. G. as one of the floor leaders in the house trying to impeach Clinton over nothing ...... but if he can vote to confirm John "force my 1st wife to have sex with a stranger as I play w/ myself" Bolton, he will go in the just an other hack for hire file for me.
He knows Iraq is a political poison and is trying to distance himself .....

21. To my Fav EDV of the KOEB ...... |
|
The blood of 9/11 is on his hands ...... "they" hampered Clinton with Monica and Whitewater to the point he could not go after bin Laden ....... look if he is against Iraq now fine but in the "big picture" he is part of the coup that hijacked our country ......
BTW you wouldn't have to give me cab fair in the morning ...... I would make you a fruit cocktail and feed it to you with my fingers as I whisper stories about "Gull Bay" in your ear .....

18. And, Remember His Big Lie! |
|
He was questioning Richard Ben-Veniste. At the end, he asked RBV "If i had and showed you proof of the obstruction of justice would you change your attitude about the President." RBV answered he just might. Graham then said "Well, be watching tomorrow."
The next day his entire schpiel was a reiteration of the charges and the way such things MIGHT be possibly construed as obstruction.
So, he claimed to have proof, said he would reveal it, and then used as proof his opinion that something MIGHT have been done illegally.
Yeah, Lindsay. Real truthteller, you. The Professor

I hated him when he joined the mob to bring down Clinton. I'lll never forgive him for that, and I will never vote for him. I think Alex Sanders would have been a huge step up for SC rather than LG. Still believe that. The worst man won.
But, he gets my attention when he quesitons bush. Not that I like him, but who'da thunk it.

Honestly, how can any thinking caring compassionate person be a republican? I truly don't get that! They all seem hateful and self serving and self absorbed to me. MePublicans. But I guess that wasn't what this thread was about. I kinda got off on my own rant. Sorry mopaul.

23. Lindsay Graham speaks the truth. |
|
I don't really respect him anymore for it though, the most well meaning republican I get behind today is George Voinovich.
Voinovich, I salute what happened to your daughter and family. I'm so sorry to hear about all of it, and I salute your speaking truth to power.
