You said Iraq is worth the sacrifice. I'm curious to see what you think you've sacrificed...

6. Anyone with a family member in Iraq is sacrificing their peace of mind
while taking the chance that they will lose that family member.

Somehow, I don't think George is in danger of either one of these things.

point - a point that mirrors yours in some ways, and a point I'd be willing to discuss with those who support * unconditionally:

If your son or daughter, grandson or granddaughter, were asked to fight in this war, and if he or she ended up dying, would it be worth it?

Jerry talked about how he was happy that the Iraqis "could vote," but that he is unwilling to have someone he loves DIE so the Iraqis could vote. That's a sacrifice that isn't worth *'s "mission." He was absolutely on target.

edited for clarity (and I hope I succeeded!)

9. Well, I don't watch Springer, but he's right.
I am not willing to give up a family member for this mess.

I didn't/don't watch him either - he was on AAR, and I listened while driving yesterday :)

11. Chimpy didn't sacrifice anything...
...nor did his rethug cronies. They did nothing but gain--defense contracts, continuation of oil supplies and profits, huge contributions to their coffers.
