Durbin suggested that US treatment of prisoners was bordering on Nazi tactics, which some felt was excessive, but Swaggart committed adultery repeatedly with a prostitute. Durbin, at the most, is guilty of overstatement; Swaggart violated the law and one of the ten commandments. Swaggart's public apology was also unbelievably hokey -- doesn't FAUX news know faux remorse when they see it?
