U.S. says it could 'decisively defeat North Korea'
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/8398313/

Is it just me, or does this article give you the willies too?

Feels like we're slowly, gently, delicately being groomed for more "global proliferation of democracy" doesn't it?

4. Sure, except this time the price will be down-town Tokyo
North Korea actually has got nukes, unlike certain other "tyrannies" I could name.

7. Yep, either Tokyo, or
San Diego, LA, possibly Frisco. Kim's rocket tech is progressing well, and the Pacific can no longer protect us.

6. We didn't used to have to boast about that
It used to be just sort of assumed.

No more.

8. North Korea would kick our ass
I spent three years patrolling the DMZ in Korea. The North Korean army is a powerful, well trained, disciplined force to be reckoned with. They told my unit that our life expectancy was less than two minutes after the resumption of hostilities. Comforting. They are blowing smoke up our asses again. Any military action on the part of the North would require the United States to institute the draft immediately.

10. We will, in fact, be greeted as liberators.
We can save money on propoganda by using to old Iraq lies.

12. Hrm N. Korea can boast a 1 million man army
We're struggling now with our forces that are at max about half that size.

13. Go ahead pretzelnut shrimpyballs. They're on China's doorstep and they
will NOT take kindly to you nuking their closest neighbor. They may respond the same way.

At this point, I'm so dejected in life that I say "go for it". At least we all die and no more of this favoritism "Save the rich and kill the poor" shit.
