Which word best describes President Bush's speech?

Reassuring: 18%
Uplifting: 7%
Worrying: 75%

Total votes: 77164

This is the same result as last night but with 10x as many respondents. I thought for sure it would be freeped.

7. I didn't vote in that poll, because none of those words
are accurate. "Appalling" or "shameless" should have also been an option.

14. Yeah, what kind of choices are those?
"Reassuring" and "uplifting" offset by only "worrying"??

Although this being the new CNN, I'm surprised the choices weren't "Magnificent," "Awe-Inspiring" or "I came in my pants at the President's masterful presentation."

9. And speaking of CNN speech coverage...
Anyone catch their initial reaction after it last night? It was, dare I say, downright anti-Bush. Paula Zahn and Wolf Blitzer both chastized Bush for repeating "9/11" over and over again. They both couched it in the "opponents will surely say that..." terms, but it was still shocking to see. Of course, I was completely plastered by then, having played the Bush Speech Drinking Game:
