1. Gee, I didn't think there were 500 defense contractors in Iraq |
|
It's sure been worth it to them!
Sucks for the rest of us, though.

the dead can't vote.
Any time, in any circumstances, that some asshole says some one else's sacrifice is worth it, they should be treated with as much contempt as can be mustered.

situation to appeal to patriotism and his war-loving base.

8. I sent in an answer, which I doubt they'll show |
|
To answer "is the sacrifice worth it" one would have to define the pronoun "it." Does "it" mean inciting worldwide anti-American sentiments? Turning Iraq into a training ground for new terrorists? Turning their country into a place where people can't safely walk down the street, can't get medical care, and barely have running water or electricity? Installing a new government that is more corrupt than the previous one? Compromising our own ethics and morality by putting ourselves in charge of torture and rape rooms? Cutting our own benefits to our country's poorest, so that we could double the starvation rate of their children as well?
The things we've accomplished weren't worth doing at all, let alone worth killing thousands of people for.
