2. yeah that makes sense actually
I have believed all along that this administration is genuinely shocked at how hard the Iraq war has turned out to be.

3. I worked for a sociopath once.
Narcissistic Personality Disorder. He could turn on the waterworks at will. Emotional lability on demand is just another tool for manipulation for them.

13. The NPD cries when frustrated, when they perceive
that they aren't being understood or IDOLIZED. They cry about their own feelings of inadequacy. And they panic when losing their N Supply sources to reflect back their grandiosity. That would explain his tears. Yeah, he's definitely NPD. D ; )

Waterworks as a manipulative tool is a common feature of NPD. Observers often buy such a fake choked-up display as indicative of real emotions, when in reality these people are as cold-blooded as it gets. 'Crocodile tears' are an infantile way of getting sympathy, and it usually works for them. It really hooks the soft-hearted and naive.

Narcissist Personality Disorder--in the extreme--features characteristics found in sociopaths. Many people do not realize the dangerous, predatory nature of NPD. Exploitation of others becomes the path to success for them and the normal experience of "having a conscience" does not exist as a deterrent.

Yep as DanaM says, the tears of the NPD individual are always about being under-appreciated or misunderstood, since nothing can possibly be their fault. The Bush Family War is a 'vanity project' of epic proportions, and the leading actor is looking a little shaky...

He's thinking: "Oh God, please, please let me be able to pull this off!"
He doesn't give a shit about any of those soldiers in the audience or the ones in Iraq....its all about him...he's not crying for anyone but himself....he's narcissistic and a sociopath and a dry drunk....three things that don't mix well together....

 :puke:

14. Wow. As long as we're talking psychology
Look at how different the back ground is. Usually it's been very sharp, lots of pointed flags and stuff. Now it's soft and blurry. yes, I think they're trying to convince us of bush's humanity, his vulnerablity... oh my gawd, he's a liberal!

19. Yes Scott Sforza has changed tactics
He's softened everything. He's stylized the draped flag - 9 stripes instead of 13. He's foreshadowing the half-mast idea by draping it. He has the presidential seal that Bush plasters to everything everywhere he goes, but it's softened and blurry as you note. Message: I care. Cue tears.

we are caught up in the grandiose dreams and schemes of the vain and greedy and ruthless. You do not play games with a cadre of thieves. Those who would use us as pawns only understand a clear rejection, a clear refusal to comply.
