Dumb Question about money :
When something like the Apollo Project comes along, is there a way to recognize corporations who are participating so you can invest in them? Is there a "Good Housekeeping" seal of approval?

3. I just heard about it on AAR, of course there's a website.
I really hope they inoculate themselves against Greenwashing with some very clearly identifiable standards.

2. Any non-national security project makes contracts public.
You can find out which companies have government contracts on any project. It is made public by the agency. The companies always announce it as well. You can contact the government agency to verify that a company has a legitimate contract. Use the Freedom of Information Act if you want tons of data.

I'm not quite sure what you mean about "seal of approval".

5. Most Agencys Make The Information Available Too
Government contracts are one of the earliest things to find themselves tracked by computer and were one of the first bits of public information to find its way on line. You can go to the web site of just about any of the Agencys and look up basic information, including points of contact, for all unclassified contracts. Then if you want to see the absolute reams of background paperwork that are generated in the issue of any Government Contract just go to the Freedom of Information Act.

I say these things as a 20+ year Contracting Officer and later Analyst for one of the big agencys not far from here. I retired this past January.
