5. No, because you didn't subject yourself to watching
that POS smirking his way through a pack of lies and bromides while disgracing the servicemen surrounding him.

6. I took a nap until Mike Malloy came on at 7
I let him and his wonderful wife provide me with the best sound bites and Mike's unique brand of rage. :)

7. I had a choice
Stay home and watch Bush** or help my friend move furniture down 3 floors then up one in 96 degree temps. I moved furniture. What can I say?

9. I had the sound off, just watched a few seconds of the
beginning, long enough to see that they had a very high podium to obscure Stupid's hands.

What I wanted to see is the gesture that somebody on this board called "patting his invisible dog."

They must have noticed the same tic, because they certainly worked hard enough to obscure it.

10. Other: heard some of it on the radio in the car
coming back from the grocery store. * must have said that we were making progress in Iraq 23 times in the two minutes it took me to drive home. The s.o. wouldn't let me put in on the tube, lest our expensive Sony gear 'plode (im or ex) under the stress. :P

So I went out to see "Herbie" at the movies.

17. Yes, I enjoyed watching the desperate little twit... reminded me of Nixon
... during his impeachment process (minus Nixon's intelligence)... can't wait for the little twit to start saying "I AM NOT A LIAR" . Perhaps we are in the 'last throes' of a failed presidency and the little twit (& Co) will finally get impeached :bounce: .

I noticed that some of the 'newspeople' aren't falling in lockstep behind the WH the way they used to... actually asked some challenging questions and called Bush & supporters on some BS... in regard to Bush's suggested links between 9/11 & the war in Iraq, 'newspeople' stated outright that there is no connection... felt like America's blinders might be coming off... might the tide finally be turning?

Someone on one of the 'news' shows (Anderson Cooper, I think) compared Bush's situation with a dog food company... they produce a dog food, have a great ad campaign, but the real test comes when you give the dog food to the dog... and the dog won't eat the dog food... now America ain't eating the dog food  .
