12. I was referring to the polls taken before the speech
I would not pay much attention to the after the speech polls as I fear the MSM is trying to push the agenda and the polls will be slanted...

14. Slanted they may be ...... but I suspect around here we've learned
to see past the pushes and the skewing and the stupidly weighted basis.

21. ...and here's a surprise
"audience was apparently rather small and composed largely of Bush supporters -- 50% of those who tuned in were Republicans, a much higher proportion than exists in the general population but similar to what Gallup has found in polling following other Bush speeches."

19. Shrub swore to the American people that it would never happen again.
After all, his final excuse for the Iraq war was that he was fighting 'terrists' over there, so we did not have to fight them here.:yoiks:

Then again, he's never held accountable for anything that happens on his 'watch.'

20. Ding, ding! And don't forget...
Regarding accountability, he doesn't think he's accountable. Remember he told the Washington Post he had his accountability moment, and it was called the 2004 elections!

You know, I was just talking with a friend about this today. Obviously, I do NOT want us to get attacked again. But if we do, Bush & Co. will have some 'plainin' to do. Because last year, they told us they were the only ones who could keep us safe, and if the evil John Kerry because POTUS, we would get attacked again, and worse than before!

17. Invade Iran
After a vaguely familiar Tonkin-like attack on American and Iraqi forces at a border checkpoint, the tanks will roll- With embedded reporters and Triple A and smartbomb cameras and, of course, Lee Greenwood playing in the background.
