possibly with a big truckload of salt.

but seriously, they didn't steal trillions and murder thousands and go to all this trouble just to fade away quietly, they ain't gonna give it up so easy.

we have some real hard ass work ahead of us, and bush is right, we need to be RESOLVED, AND STAY THE COURSE to remove this outlaw regime.

1. *Heavy sigh*
I've gotten so excited so many times in the last five years, thinking "well, we, as a people, have finally had enough," thinking, "bush is going down, the writings on the wall."

So many, "bush is toast" threads.

I think he's in deep now, I think America has had enough of him and his mob, I think he's impeachable, and resignable. I don't think he'll ever have the trust of the majority of Americans again.

Now more so than ever.

And the Democrats have finally awakened, reassembled - our party seems to have a new vitality, and a new respect from me.

But does this mean bush is gone?

I want to believe he's on the verge of being impeached. I want to believe we will push him out. I want to believe his thin skin will make him walk away. Go, just go.

But I've felt so optimistic so many times, and he's still there. I can't help but read your post and remember when I felt the same way, and how cautious I am now.

Sorry, not trying to be a downer.

:smoke:

2. You are right -- they will not give up without a fight. I cannot see
Shrubya going "quietly into the night"...(we can only hope).

Shrub thinks he is a good president regardless of what the polls say. I agree -- he is in deep shit. However, the Dems have got to keep the pressure on this m-fer and his crooked friends and not let up for a second. The minute the Dems give shrub a little breathing room,Rove will come up with something to throw the shit right back at
us.

These are truly despicable humans...I use the term "humans" quite loosely.
