george bush: the greatest coward I've ever known
One thing I always liked about Dean is that he was never afraid of the press. He met them head on. Clinton was always the same way. He talked to the press and talked to the American people.

Having a president spend time talking to the American people was comforting in a strange way. We get used to them and their presence. We get to know them and as we do, we see their strengths and weaknesses.

Then there's bush. He rarely talks to the press. Rarely talks to the US and when he does, we're expected to be patriots and fall right into line. He gives that stupid smirk and laugh in a lame attempt to make the person or persons feel like they were stupid for questioning. He's also ridiculed and talked down to people who have the audacity to disagree or ask a too-tough question.

With the veil of secrecy comes insulation. It's no wonder we see such a disconnect between the WH and everyone else. As the war continues on and the death toll climbs the discontent will go on. The dissent will get louder. George Bush will only find peace by even more secrecy and more insulation thus even more disassociation with reality. In other words, he'll hide.

1. Remember his three statements to Bob Woodward.
1. I am the Commander-in-Chief ,you see.May be others have to explain to me why they do certain things, but I do not have to say why I do certain things.

2. Who cares what you think?

3. It will be a lot easier if this was a dictataorship with me as the dictator.

Take it from there.

5. Didn't you know?
George's little voice is that of an angry, vengeful, hypocritical, queer-hatin', privelege-lovin' God.
