Is a media tectonic shift in its infancy? |
|
To be sure, what passes for 'the media' in this country is for shit. The whole liberal media meme is so over. No one even pretends the media is liberal anymore except for the truly delusional or the mind controllers who keep them deluded.
But I'm wondering if we're seeing the start of a shift to more honest news reporting ..... or at least news commentary.
Olbermann has been pretty solid and reliable.
John Stewart, while not a news person, has also been consistently good.
Just this morning, Carol Costello, on CNN, went off on some RW nutjob liar.
Tonight, on Bowtie Boy's show, he, the RW guy, and Rachel Maddow were all in agreement ..... idiot son's speech sucked and the War in Iraq® was a monumental mistake.
These anecdotal reports of a shift in what the media's been passing around have become more frequent here on DU.
Am I smokin' some good shit or have you noticed this too?

8. It's the influence of the internet on the CCM* |
|
The ccm is well aware of what is being posted on the internet because the monitor the net.
* ccm is corporate controlled media

10. So you're saying they are, in fact changing their posture and it is |
|
all because they sense a shift in pople and want to 'loved' by the bigger group ... which, increasingly, seems to be the anti-bush?

9. We'll just have to wait and see. They've betrayed us. Will they gain,.. |
|
,...back our trust? Not mine. Not after this shit. They are too into profits while abandoning, even exploiting our people.
I'll definitely jump their big sinking ship and embrace those who have substantive values, human values, directing their boats.
