I think I heard him say that an Amnesty International report stated that an 8 year old and 11 year old were both detained by us, and tortured or mistreated in some way. Did I hear that right ?????

2. And the WHAT about "in front of their mothers" is

rape -- in at least one case (and probably others). This was a teenage boy, anally raped.

A Canadian, Omar Khadr, was 15 in 2002 when he was captured in Afghanistan and interned at Guantánamo. For two and a half years, he was allowed no contact with a lawyer or with his family.
